So, now stepping into the novel,
This is the first experience of me reading a novel!!
Now, don't doubt me? I really had and am reading a lot more novels!
But this is the first time,
That I'd read a mythological novel,
Otherwise my choice's always favours for a novel of romance genre.
Yes, if I had read nearly hundred books,
Now I'm joking..don't ever imagine me as a wizard worthful only for reading books..
I haven't even read half of such number..
Now,coming to the novel, sorry I'm always distracted and distracting others..
I really don't know why my pen moves the way it does..
So, now, I was.. Saying,
This book palace of illusions is a retelling tale of Mahabharat in the point of view of Draupadi.
But why is it in the viewpoint of Draupadi?

Why one of the.. She's the most important female Charecter in the epic of Mahabharat..
It was Bcoz of her the whole war happened between the pandavas and the Kauravas.
As a result, millions of soldiers where slained in the war,
The women in hastinapur became widows,
Where the children grew up fatherless..
Really, it's hectic! But why was draupadi responsible for the war? You might ask..
Yes, the pandavas lost the game of dice,
By the wicked plan of Kauravas.
The elder one-yudishtrar lost draupadi, himself and all of his four brothers..
As a result, draupadi was humiliated,
On court in front of all men in the sabha.
She was helpless, even before all of the greatest warriors, bheesma pitamah, dronacharya and her 5 husbands..
Unable to bear this, she cursed in the name of all the women, that all of the Kauravas and those supporting this atharma,
I mean the whole of hastinapur will be destroyed..
So, yes as a result after 13 years,
As an act of revenge and vengeance,
Finally the war took place.....
Now, I really loved this book,
Bcoz now everyone knows the story of the war,
But how much does one know the feelings of a women,
Who was held responsible for the whole kurekshetra war?
And the one thing I really loved in this book,
Was the continuation,
I mean what happened after the war,
After the Pandavas,the kingdoms successors and the whole story of parikshit and his curse.
But I could say that to my knowledge,
I thought draupadi hated karnan Bcoz he was the main cause of the disrobing that happened to her.
But here it's the other way around,
They both loved each other..but secretly.
And I really got to know of all the other info's that I'd missed in the serials,
Like, arjun urvashi's curse,
Draupadi's hatred towards Kunti,
Her thoughts-as a feminist.
The language was really impressive,
Where one could find all tough words,
That's hidden on a dictionary,
But above all,
I really loved it.
