First day of online classes

And now it’s been a while since,

We’ve had our regular classes.

Where we’d go to school,wake up early in the morning,pack our bags-(Dear readers,for your kind information-it's not the school bags that we pack but lunch bag!)

And then bid a goodbye to your mom,munching half the roti running halfway to catch the bus.

But all these experiences that I’m recalling now,is just a memory.A memory that will never fade away..for days,months or even years!

Lockdown was announced, 

and as a result online classes were introduced.

I could still remember each and every instance-of how our phone beeped with messages,of oh my god!from friends and “online class to be commenced from ---For doubts and clarifications contact the____…”from school.

I experienced mixed emotions of happiness and had feelings of anxiety,curiosity of what's gonna happen in the now boredom online classes.

To find an answer for all my wh questions,

I started browsing various sites and videos relating to the app in which the online class is to be conducted,

But all my efforts turned into vain—I could’nt understand a single thing,but got easily confused.

The whole day ended up so fast,reading the newspapers for information relating to online class,had call with friends,discussing about the app and the rules to be followed-be on video mode,have notebook to take notes.

We were sent pdf’s after pdf’s of class XX textbooks in beforehand,

Which made me realise that something serious was going to happen the following day.

I shut off the door,

And went to my bed,but couldn’t sleep,

My eyes were wide awake,excited about the  online classes.

That morning I gathered all my notebooks,headphones,thankfully I din’t forget to charge my phone.

Links were sent and ppl joined.

Wearing uniform,having headphones on,seated in front of the camera with a grim face,keenly listening,ensuring myself,no one entering the room.Felt like,I I shant describe. 

The setting resembled the place as if an interview conducted through online. 

At the end of the day,

I remarked to myself smiling,”WE ARE THE FIRST GENERATION,ATTENDING THE ONLINE CLASSES.NO ONE ELSE HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS UNUSAL EXPERIENCE,NEITHER DID OUR PARENTS NOR GRANDPARENTS”

Just as a baby makes mistakes,

So did we!

When things were new,

We knew only few!

Eg:

Blinking while the teachers post you questions unexpectedly at the last 5 min.

And believe me those 5 minutes feels like 5 hours,never ending.

In between trying to open the pdfs for finding answers,helping friends for answers through msgs were all a different sort of experience.

And,by that time,we were’nt even aware of the now known serious,dangerous options to be beware of-such as the mic and video option.

All I could conclude from my experience is that:

"THE APPS WE’VE ALL USED MAY BE DIFFERENT BY NAMES,

BUT THE SAME BY EXPERIENCE”
